He had a 1.15 ERA in World Series compitition under manager, John McGraw. the 1950's brought an end to the Giants game in New York after Bobby Thomson's pennant home run in 1951 and the World Championship in 1954 They picked up along with Brooklyn and moved west. San Francisco was there new home and they would bring Willie Mays and beat the Dodgers in the 1962 pennant race.
